Nathan is a Video, Lighting, and New Media artist and designer
based in Toronto, Canada. Nathan has a background in theatre
design and tech, but has expanded his practice into installations,
VJing, and generative/interactive art in video. His work
beyond theatre design primarily focuses video and New Media
designs that incorporate tactile and interactive elements.
Nathan has most recently explored the manipulation and
transformation of Point Clouds in his own practice, unlocking 
a hidden world that exists within 3D photo scans of real life
environments.

As a lifelong musician, Nathan regularly involves elements of
music and soundscapes into his work. With the incorporation
of audio into his work, Nathan aims to create experiences that
engage with touch, sight, and sound simultaneously.

Nathan was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia and
relocated to Toronto, Ontario in 2016 to attend York University
for Theatre Production. He graduated in 2020 from York with
a BFA with Honours in Theatre Production and Design. He was
the inaugural candidate in the Design Incubator Pilot Project
created by Lesley Wilkinson: a rigorous training program to help
young and emerging Lighting Designers achieve their fullest
potential.
